Thousands of volunteers serve in Cincinnati Parks each year through group work events. As a long standing tradition of Cincinnatians giving back to their community; local corporations and community institutions show up for their beloved park system! Through organized efforts and well thought out projects, teams execute immeasurable support for the day to day operations of preparing our Parks for seasonal recreation use, maintaining clean and safe public spaces and have a tremendous impact on our conservation efforts.

For the optimal volunteer experience and effective service events, we have a few requirements in place:
To ensure adequate prep time, we aim to schedule projects at least 6 weeks out. The time is needed to identify, plan, and secure leaders for your project. This also gives ample time to gather individual registrations by the deadline of 10 days prior to your scheduled service event.
We typically schedule projects 9am - 12pm. The three hour project hits that sweet spot of impact and positive experience for volunteers working in groups. If your group requires an alternate timeframe, we do have some flexibility. Let us know in the space provided below in this form.
All participants must register for the service project via a digital link. This registration includes details on the project as well as a required liability waiver for the City of Cincinnati. The deadline is set to ensure the committed number of volunteers, and so that all volunteers receive the information for the project. by this deadline to determine execution of the event. In some cases, we may need to tweak project scope, or reschedule if the number of required volunteers has not been met. This will be Parks volunteer coordinator will provide a list of all registered volunteers on the deadline.
