Each year thousands of volunteers participate in service projects that are vital to the preparation and maintenance of our parks. Groups and individuals from all backgrounds and abilities come together to perform important conservation and beautification tasks that impact the community by keeping our Parks safe and beautiful! Examples of work include:
- Invasive species removal
- Horticulture maintenance
- Mulching trees, beds & playgrounds
Volunteers should be prepared for the weather appropriate clothing, wear long pants and layers (long sleeves), close-toed shoes are required. Suggested: refillable water bottle - there will be water cooler on site for volunteers to fill a bottle. Cincinnati Parks discourages single - use plastics.
