Trail Improvement Work Days

Saturday, September 10 | 9am - 12pm

Work with Parks Staff and Northside Greenspace members in continued reforestation efforts on a 16 acre greenspace trail in Northside (45223). This area is under a land management plan that includes reestablishing a trail corridor by controlling the many species of invasive non native plants and The invasive species found in this greenspace include honeysuckle, garlic mustard, lesser celandine, euonymous, stilt grass and wine berry.

Volunteers should be prepared for the weather in durable, lightweight (layered) clothing, wear long pants and long sleeves, close-toed shoes are required. Suggested: refillable water bottle - there will be water cooler on site for volunteers to fill a bottle. Cincinnati Parks discourages single - use plastics.
