Cincinnati Parks is gearing up for the 14th annual Mayor's Corporate Challenge!
Each year, for the last 13 years, thousands of volunteers have joined in the tremendous group effort of helping Cincinnati Parks kick off our season by accomplishing projects that vital to the preparation and maintenance of our parks. Groups of many sizes and abilities perform important conservation and beautification tasks that impact the work of our staff and help keep our Parks safe and beautiful! Examples of work include:
Parks has been fortunate to have the continued support from our dedicated and enthusiastic partners, and we are looking forward to what this year will bring! Please register your corporation for participation today!
Sharing the invite to participate through March. Please complete the registration form (below) for your corporation.
Project pairings will be announced. This will include locations, project overview and required number of volunteers.
Each Corporation or group will have representatives attend the MCC planning mtg to discuss project details. Lunch will be provided.
All volunteers will be registered by this date. To ensure each project has adequate support, we will use the number of registered vols from each corporation/group to confirm project details and assignments.
Volunteers will meet at assigned project location prior at 8am. Parks staff will provide overview of project to groups - and work will begin by 9am. GREAT THINGS WILL HAPPEN!
Each group must have a lead point of contact for the event. In most cases, we request one lead volunteer per 15 volunteers in the group. These representatives will attend planning meeting, and may be required to meet on site with Parks staff prior to the event.
